Placement duties may include any of the following, or a combination, as available based on data collection cycles. Projects will generally be focused on the investigation of balance, motion, and muscle activation in older adult populations.
- Preparation (labelling) of motion capture data
- Processing of biomechanical data (motion, force, muscle activation)
- Literature review
- Assisting with data collection
- Potential for a conference presentation (optional)
- Additional duties as agreed upon between the student and supervisor
- Note: Onsite training in the lab will be provided, regarding specific equipment and software used for data preparation and processing
