Women’s Soccer – Nipissing University Placement Details

Students will be responsible for:
  • establishing and maintaining a strength and conditioning program for soccer, with the three major goals of improving athletic performance, reducing athletic injuries, and teaching lifelong fitness and movement skills;
  • create/modify training plan(s) according to sound scientific principles, supervises training sessions, evaluates athletes, maintains athlete records, and provides education on proper strength and conditioning techniques;
  • meet regularly with Head Coach/staff to outline athletes’ progress and next steps;
  • If working with an injured athlete engaged in rehabilitation, the Strength and Conditioning Coach will consult with the sports medicine or athletic training staff;
  • reserving & maintaining the strength and conditioning facility, and maintain/establish policies, plans, and procedures to ensure safety of all athletes.
